Does anybody have any comments about the Frisco League Faceoff. I was only up there for one night. Plato and Crocker looked tough.

I have to say that Coach Crane did a very good job in hosting the Frisco League faceoff this year. It was a little bit hot in the gym but all of the games were very entertaining. I drove up to plato for all three of the days that it was held. I wonder why no other Frisco League teams didn't come and play in this years shoot out? I actually kept some stats and came up with an all camp team and a little scouting report:
Frisco League Faceoff Team
Bret Lanier Crocker:He averaged 20.5 points during the camp. He showed that he is a very streaky and dangerous scorer if he gets on a roll. He plays great defense and he is exciting to watch because of the energy he brings. An example of this would be that he dunked it during one of the games.
Nathan Rigsby Crocker: He can do it all as he plays good defense as well as scoring at will in the paint. He averaged a double doudle as he had 15 pionts a game and 10+ rebounds in the game. Very good passer as well
Evan Rigsby Crocker: He averaged about 9 points a game but he made an impact on the game because he does all those little things to win. He was crashing the offensive boards, diving after every loose ball and playing great defense. He plays with a lot of heart and that is something that you don't see too often these days.
Ryan Suter Plato: Averaged 13 points during the camp and was a constant threat to hit the long ball as he connected on 13 treys. He is a deadly mid-range shooter when he is coming off the dribble.
Blake Kimrey Plato: He was a scoring machine as he averaged 21.5 points per game to lead the camp in scoring. He was a threat to take the ball to the basket or he could hit the jumper from almost anywhere on the court. He dropped 33 points in the opening game agianst Crocker. He will only be a sophmore this season.
Bart Warren Richland: He did a better job during the camp of passing the basketball first before he took his shots. He averaged about 9 points per game and made some improvements on his point guard play.
Casey Fowler Richland: He looked like he could be the 'JJ Reddick' of the conference. He is a scoring threatl from long range as he averaged 12 points per contest. He can hit his three pointers with stunning accuracy if he gets a clear look at the basket. He hit 17 three pointers which was more that he hit from inside the arch.
(24) Devon James Bakersfield: He led his team in scoring with 8 points per game. Very fast guard
Final Standings were Crocker 6-0 Plato 4-2 Richland 2-4 Bakersfield 0-6
I hope that coach Crane and Plato will host a shootout next summer because I believed that it is a great oppurtunity for players to get good summer ball expeirence.
