Good morning everybody here is my wrap up from yesterday's game between the School of the Osage Indians and the Iberia Rangers from Hooper Field on the campus of Iberia High School
School of the Osage vs Iberia
In a battle for Miller County the Iberia Rangers behind a superb performance by Junior Pitcher Wyatt Ray would blank the Rival School of the Osage Indians 3-0. The Rangers would get their first run in the second when Wyatt Ray would reach on an infield single then Darrien Dickey would reach on an error at third and then Riley Halley would also reach on an error by the Osage third basemen allowing Ray to come home making it 1-0. The Rangers would get another in the following inning when Dustin Bloodgood singled then stole second and third base. The catcher would try to pick him off third but the throw was wild allowing Bloddgood to score making it 2-0 after three. Iberia would get their final run in the fourth when Zach Roark would single then following yet another Osage error a sac fly off the bat of Issac Minnick would bring home Roack home making it 3-0 and that would end up being the final. Both Pitchers in this one were wheeling and dealing in this one but the difference in this one was the suspect Osage fielding. Osage would commit seven errors in the game and all three runs would be unearned. Also Iberia starting catcher Tyler Slawson aided the Rangers cause as he would gun down two base runners attempting to steal.
