Good morning everbody here is my wrap up from the Crocker at Richland game from Tuesday as well as the other Frisco League action from Tuesday
Crocker at Richland
The Richland Bears used yet another big fourth quarter to blowout Frisco foe Crocker and collect an 84-66 Frisco League victory. The Richland Bears would jump out in the first quarter and push the tempo of the game as they would run out out to an 18-13 lead after one. In the second period this would be a back and forth quarter as the Lions would fight back to cut the lead down to single digits late but a three pointer late by Junior Jake Horton would make it double digits as time would expire. It would be Richland 39-27 at the break. The third quarter would see the Crocker Lions slow the tempo to what they wanted and they would outscore the host Bears 20-12 and it would be the Richland Bears clinging to a 51-47 lead after three. The Bears would do what they did in the Cassville game, last Saturday as they would explode in the fourth. Richland would regain their composure as they would again force the speed of the game and they would absolutely blast the Lions 33-19 in the last eight minutes to collect the Frisco League win.
"We're staying alive in the Frisco League race but we still got the bigs of Dixon and Licking left but were battling. We got another big quarter tonight but we should have been able to finish early in the first half but we hand a hard time finishing in the first half. Come district time we need to be ready to play every tight now because its almost district time and we want to be playing our best come district time. And without Chase we are getting in a groove which is great given the situation we are in without him" Coach Kent Stoumbaugh
